CSS Tutorial 1
In this Tutorial, you will learn how to edit the colors of the ais.css Cascading Style Sheet.
What is CSS?
From Wikipedia, CSS is used to help readers of web pages to define colors, fonts, layout, and other aspects of document presentation.
For this quarter, you will only learn how to define and edit the colors of the CSS file. You will learn how to define your fonts and layout next quarter.
Right now, please download http://ais.saigonnezumi.com/css/ais.css and save it as ais.css in /home/guest/Desktop/aisproject on YOUR laptop. Yes, this means you will need to create both aisproject and css folders in PCLinuxOS now!!!
When you are finished, open up ais.css with nano.
Also, open up this hyperlink which lists the CSS colors you can use in ais.css for your Class Project, http://www.somacon.com/p142.php. We will go over each defined element during class today so be sure to pay attention!
When you are finished, please email yourself a copy of your edited ais.css file.
On Thursday, you will begin your Class Projects. I will bring my laptop where you will store your Class Projects.
